My methods vary for every stream. This is due to stream rules, basic setup, and other factors. This guide will cover the basics.

RAIDS
Let's make one thing clear: RAIDING STREAMS IS A VIOLATION OF TOS!!!!
When one of my streams gets raided, that stream becomes my top priority. All participants are perma-banned. All comments and submissions by them are deleted or unfeatured from the stream. I'll contact a site mod about it.

My good friend JadetheCrabHighPriest established raid protocols for LGBTQ. Unlike Anime, LGBTQ is more likely to get raided, which is why we remind followers of these protocols. I will fetch a link to them in a bit.

ADDITIONAL NOTES: Depending on severity, posting will be temporarily disabled as the damage gets undone. If a mod is part of the raid, their privileges will be revoked as well.

APPEALING A DECISION
Nobody's perfect. We all make mistakes. This includes me too. If you feel like I have misjudged a situation as mod, politely discuss it with me instead of accusing me of abusing my mod. If I did misjudge it, I will try to appeal it. If I didn't misjudge it, I will keep my decision invoked.

If you accuse me of mod abuse when I'm trying to politely explain why I made a decision, the chances of it being appealed will be roughly <5%.

BANS
I'll let y'all in on a little secret: I don't like banning people. However, I will if needed.
If a user breaks stream rules/ToS, I'll issue a ban. The length will be based on severity. Past history in the stream will affect it too. Trolls will be perma-banned.

Nobody in particular is perma-banned from my streams, but I have ONE exception to this: Jeffrey Stone. He is a pedophile who will incorporate d**dos and panties into his memes. Jeffrey knows Imgflip is mostly used by minors, and he directs his memes to them.

APPROVING POSTS AND FLAGS
When I get a new submission, I ask myself three questions:
1. Does it follow ToS?
2. Does it follow stream rules?
3. Is it appropriate for the stream?
If the answer to all three are yes, I approve it. If any of them are no, I'll disapprove it with a reason why.

FLAGS
I review these first. When I see a flag, I review the content, the user flagging it, and the reason and note, if available. I tend to approve flags made by followers than those by non-followers. If the flag was called for, I approve the flag and issue a proper ban. If not, the flag is ignored.

ADDITIONAL NOTES: If something gets flagged twice, I'm more likely to approve the flag(s) if they were called for.

VIOLATIONS OF IMGFLIP'S TERMS OF SERVICE
If I find something in my streams that violates the Terms of Service (ToS), I will remove it immediately. Letting it stay is basically a violation as well. Go to https://imgflip.com/terms for more info.

EDITING STREAMS
This will be divided into three sections: Rules, Moderators and Owners, and Basic Settings.

RULES
Some streams have more than others. Rules are added or changed to reflect recent stream events and other factors.

Sometimes I'll go through and combine certain rules into one to declutter the list.

MODERATORS AND OWNERS
For new streams, I pick some followers to be mod. Streams like LGBTQ and Anime require decent mods. If a mod abuses their privileges or break stream rules/ToS, their mod is revoked. I carefully consider giving owner to a mod.

ADDITIONAL NOTES: I may revoke mod from a user due to inactivity. In this case, they are eligible to get their mod back as long as they discuss it with me politely.

BASIC SETTINGS
I have all streams public for all of Imgflip. Auto-approve is normally off, especially for raid-prone streams. I have either Unlimited Posts or 5 posts selected. Verified email and no new users are off. Anonymous varies per stream.

Auto-approve is off as a measure to mitigate damage from raids. Anonymous is also turned off most of the time to properly ban users who misbehave.

UNBANS
I rarely unban users. If a ban was unjustified, I'll appeal it. If the banned user apologizes and promises to not make the mistake that got them banned again, I'll hold them to it. Deleted accounts will be unbanned.

NOTE: I take caution with unbanning people to avoid an unwanted raid.
