Gender is basically easy to determine (unless you talking about the 102,590,295,402, genders nonsense). You’re born as and die as either a man, or a woman.

Sexuality is what kind of gender you’re attracted to. If a man is attracted to a woman, then they’re straight. If a woman is attracted to a man, then they’re straight. If a man is to another man, then they’re gay, and so on

I’m on your side here, I’m just trying to clarify this because they are two different things.
