ah i've only played soul silver a little bit but i had a chicorita and that's it

Soulsilver and my team is lugia, meganium, tyranitar, lanturn, dragonite, ampbipom

Meganium, while admittedly based, isnt very good in a playthrough at all, and I personally dont love it.
I will always approve the use of any Pseudo, and I like myself a Tyranitar and Dragonite.
Ambipom is… an odd choice, but I like the pokemon so there’s something.
Lanturn is a cool Pokemon, but not the best in battle.
And Lugia is the legendary that I never will approve nor disapprove anyone using. Its cool, its powerful, its fine.
Overall you got pokemon that I at least think are cool, but considering that half your team isnt great in battle while the other half is amazing in battle, leaving a large power unbalance, I can’t give a high score. But because I like all your options (except meganium, no offense its just kinda boring) I’ll give you a solid 6.5/10.

Feraligatr, Celebi (Glitch), Quagsire, Lugia, Suicune, and Gyarados (I did a shiny run, sorta like Smallant for my first playthrough. All of the Pokey-mans on my team were shiny. Even the Celebi.)

My first game was Crystal, and I'm a big shiny hunter in that game.

Also, I Caught a Spearow and named it "Not Kenya".

For example, my first team was in Heart Gold. It was Typhlosion, Ampharos, Fearow, Machamp, Steelix, Tyranitar. The Fearow, Machamp, and Steelix were the gift/trade pokemon Kenya, Muscle, and Rocky. They are just really good team members and just cool pokemon.
