Guess what! You don’t need mod to help keep this stream troll-free.

Anyone who
1. Flags troll comments
2. Doesn’t respond to trolls
3. Doesn’t post images about them
4. Doesn’t pursue an argument on an image/stream
5. Reminds other users to do the same

Remember just because someone is an A-hole that doesn’t mean harassing them is okay, and even if it was all that does is bring them back here.

You want to help when raids come around? Don’t know how to do it without raiding the attack stream? There are ways to help!

-See a raid being planned? Go to me and Jer right away to alert us! Memechat, secluded posts, and my private convo posts, are all great for that.
Note: By raid I mean a mole in the stream’s moderation team, or something equally large. A few users posting a troll image is not a raid.

-Raid in progress? Get me or Jer instantly. If you have discord try and ping me there, roleplay discord works for that. If you don’t have discord and an owner isn’t online yet, find someone who does. Once you alert owners go to the rest of the mods to help mitigate damage.

-Finally, once you get all the mods you can, you are now doing your part to mitigate damage. Flag images that get sent through, and comments that are posted by raiders. Take note of who you see as well. Encourage other users to do the same. Do not raid the attackers back, and do not get into arguments with them.

On retaliation and raiding MSMG/other troll streaks back.

We do not stoop down to the levels of trolls in this stream.
-Attacking any other stream just means they will attack us right back, and guess who gets to ban all of them when I have others things I want to do? Me and other mods
-It’s against ToS. Harassment is against ToS, every time you break it you have a chance of getting sitewide mod repercussions. It is also stopping down to a trolls level, are we not better than them?
-If they raid us and we don’t raid them, then the situation is black and white. Site mods know exactly what is going on. The second someone raids them back, it’s now a war where both sides are wrong.
-It gives them attention. These people are trolls, they thrive from conflict. They WANT you to go and harass them so they can take screenshots and scream about how toxic LGBTQ is. They want you to go and harass them because it’s fun for them to ban you. They want you to go and harass them because that’s simply what they enjoy, conflict, and knowing they got your blood boiling.
-It hurts the safety of the stream. LGBTQ is supposed to be drama-free, a safe place with support and care. Not a war zone.
-It’s just pointless. They can’t do anything to LGBTQ if we don’t let them. Even if they somehow got some mole owner and did an Arkuum, it wouldn’t matter. LGBTQ has always followed ToS so we won’t have any trouble getting a site mod to recover the stream for us.
-It takes months getting even a mod into the stream, and the damage from the raid is gone in under two and a half hours. A counter attack would fuel more drama and more attackers during the initial attack from them.

Unfortunately they are not breaking ToS if they stay in their stream and do not come here. They are assholes, but they aren’t coming here to harass us specifically, so their stream lives on. Going to their stream and harassing them, even if you are in the right, IS breaking ToS. If you do that they have every right to ban you, and ask site mods to ban you. Don’t let trolls make you a troll, just avoid the stream.

I'm going to add this because I feel like it needs to be made clear.

If you're a mod for ANY stream and there's something violating ToS in your stream, you MUST remove it! Letting it stay is basically a ToS violation because you're letting people abuse ToS without punishment.

I explained them for general use and for all streams I mod/own but not for any particular stream since they vary for each stream. If I did specific streams, I would've went with LGBTQ and Anime, my first streams.

Question, if someone in this stream encouraged and conducted a raid in defense for this stream, would the be banned? I can understand them being banned if they encouraged it in the stream itself, but if everything was done outside of the stream, then would they be banned, as it wasn't directly from the LGBTQ stream?
For the record I've changed a good chunk of what my parts of the LGBTQ army are doing and now it's mostly just searching for and reporting homophobic stuff, I want peace as well

That is good to hear. And that is a good question. We will investigate the raid along with the site mods. A ban is a reasonable punishment, but it will be decided once we have all the evidence needed.
