-it backed away from the cage door making a small sound-

*opens cage door* "hello little guy!" *holds hand out in a friendly way*

-it sniffed their hand then put its chin on their hand making a small purring sound-

-it said quietly- hi..

*gentle head pats*

-it looked at a camera seeing it move-..?

Shadow: *when he saw it, he scrambled to put his mask on, making a bit of noise*

-it looked around then hid in the corner of the cage-

Shadow: hey, it's okay, I don't bite... mostly

-it got close to the door a bit-

Shadow: *eventually ship enough rust away, and he opened the cage*

-it instantly hugged shadow happily-

Shadow: *hugged it*

-it looked up at shadow- could i stay with you...?

Shadow: sure... do you want me to carry you? It's kinda far from here...

-it nodded-

Shadow: *picked it up, and started walking to his house*

-it got close to the cage door slowly-

Shadow: *smiles a bit*

-it made a small noise wanting to get out of the cage-

Shadow: ... *tried to open the cage*

-it was rusted shut-

Shadow: hm... *he pulled a knife out of a bag he had slung around his shoulder*

-it backed away-

Shadow: don't worry... *he started to try to chip the rust away*

Cecilia: *appears behind it* hi

-it jumped out of fear and made a small almost high pitched sound -

Cecilia: sorry

-it calmed but stayed away from her a bit-

Cecilia: were you an experiment too?

-it made a small nod-

Cecilia: what happened here?

-it tried to talk- the place was shut down a long time ago because one of the experiments escaped

Cecilia: might've been me, i've gotten out so many of these

lucky, i've been stuck here a long time and everyone who explores this place usually just leaves once they find me -it said a bit sadly-

Equa: *he creeps around the lab looking for any signs of life* hello?

-it heard Equa and put its head between the bars of the cage then realized its head got stuck and struggled trying to get out-

Equa: *hears some rustling and struggling sounds* *he runs towards the sound and finds a creature with it's head stuck in the bars* hey buddy, stop moving. I'm going to help you out of this. *He reaches in his bag for his bolt cutter and starts trying to break the cage*

-it panicked and made a small sound-

Equa: *the bar snaps and breaks off* there you go. Can you speak?

-it nodded- yea...

Equa: oh. Wow that's surprising. What's your name?

roadkill- -it said a bit quiet-

Equa: Oh. My name is Equa. Let's get out of this lab. Do you want to run or get into my backpack?

-it pointed to the backpack-
