[]Beyond the gate was a barren land of mist and dark skies. As they traveled forth, something seemed to be visible. Yes, it was a temple in a state of disrepair, made from rubies, gold, and white marble, all mixed together to form pillars and stairs. Kahal's pace slowed as she looked at the temple.[] "Ah, it seems as though someone wishes to speak to you, my child."

[]Kahal led Cade up the temple steps and inside the building. It was rather opulent inside, a clear contrast to the bleak world outside. Dominating the room was a large mirror with a black frame and foggy glass.[] "It seems I will leave you here," []Kahal said, turning her back on Cade and beginning to walk down the steps. She turned her head once, to say:[] "Good luck."

[]The land beyond the gate was barren and mist-filled, the sky gray and the air chilled. After a few minutes they had reached what looked like a temple. The building was crumbled, and it looked like the temple was built of gold, red ruby, and white marble, all mixed together to form the pillars and roof. Kahal looked at the temple with mild surprise.[] "Perhaps you should not despair to early, my child. It looks as though someone wishes to have an audience with you."

[]Kahal was silent as they traversed the temple steps. The inside of the temple was quite large and opulent, contrasting with the bleak outside. Black pillars and chandeliers decorated the room. A huge mirror-like door hung in front of them.[] "I shall leave you to your guest. I wish good fortune upon you." []With those words, Kahal left the room, leaving Phantom with himself and the mirror in the room.[]

They looked extravagant like the temple around them, but also peculiar, with one eye, a segmented, serpentine body, and one eye surrounded by halos.[] "Be not afraid," []Their voice echoed around the temple. As they spoke, their hand reached out from the mirror and into the temple. They were huge, taking a good amount room in the building.[] "My name is YU, They of the Eternal. It is as Kahal told you, your efforts to protect the world shall not be in vain."
