I feel like online, there are a lot of indie games that most people would've heard of and then you talk to people irl and they don't know any indie games

Yeah I’ve encountered that a lot, where I think an indie game is popular but irl no one knows about it (except for Minecraft and among us). If you couldn’t tell by my username, there’s a certain indie game I’m a really big fan of. But literally no one knows about it.
