Here’s the final version! Let me know what you think, I am still trying to improve my skills in Lightroom, which is what most photographers use to edit photos.

When it comes to editing photos in photography, you want to go for a natural look. Over-saturating images is a big no-no. Every photographer that you talk to will say it’s always a mistake that beginners make, they think it looks good but it doesn’t really look real tbh.

My point was there was much more detail on the duck but vibrance is where it lacks something you dont see in nature

Yeah ik, but I was trying to make it look more natural. Something I think I did very well.

Yes, know. Hopefully you can get a new one. I’m hoping to get the Olympus OM System OM-1 if I have enough money when I’m older, it’s my dream camera and it has everything I want in a mirrorless camera.

Well considering I have a really good Olympus C7000Z that I got from a yard sale last year (it was made in about 2004), I’m probably going to be an Olympus user. Canon, Nikon, and Sony have really amazing cameras. But from everything I’ve been seeing, the OM 1 is one of the best choices for wildlife photography. I was originally going to go with Canon since they are one of the biggest camera brands, but then I talked to an expert on B&H photo and they told me (I already knew this) that DSLR’s were slowly going the way of the pay phone, and that investing in mirrorless cameras would be the future for photography. I agree with what they say, mirrorless cameras will be dominant eventually. And DSLR’s will die out.
The one and only reason I chose the Lumix FZ80 to receive for Christmas was because it was an affordable option, had 4k video other things such as 4k photo mode which is unique; the amazing 60x optical and 120x digital zoom, and multiple other things. So as I already said, I will likely be an Olympus (OM system) user, if I become a pro someday, or have photography as a side gig, I might get a Canon.

nikon has good options too, for wildlife like you talk about i would for for nikon or sony, nikon has better lenses than canon, canon has better image procesing, sony however produces parts for the cameras made by each brand

olympus however i belive is a specilist camera in more video, so thats a interesting option

Oh, that's pretty good! It definitely shows more feather detail. I don't edit my photos but if I did I would use GIMP (which I already have). Do you want me to post the edited version?

Thanks :)
I have been getting much better at editing my photos and other peoples photos and I am glad that they like my edits.
Idk, it’s up to you if you want to post the edited one but if you do I would probably do it in your photography stream, just to make it so that it’s not the same photo above the one below it.

I’m gonna be flat out honest with you
It is way too oversaturated. I can’t really see much feather detail near the neck and the whites feel blown out. Keeping practicing! Practice makes perfect ;)
