Well considering I have a really good Olympus C7000Z that I got from a yard sale last year (it was made in about 2004), I’m probably going to be an Olympus user. Canon, Nikon, and Sony have really amazing cameras. But from everything I’ve been seeing, the OM 1 is one of the best choices for wildlife photography. I was originally going to go with Canon since they are one of the biggest camera brands, but then I talked to an expert on B&H photo and they told me (I already knew this) that DSLR’s were slowly going the way of the pay phone, and that investing in mirrorless cameras would be the future for photography. I agree with what they say, mirrorless cameras will be dominant eventually. And DSLR’s will die out.
The one and only reason I chose the Lumix FZ80 to receive for Christmas was because it was an affordable option, had 4k video other things such as 4k photo mode which is unique; the amazing 60x optical and 120x digital zoom, and multiple other things. So as I already said, I will likely be an Olympus (OM system) user, if I become a pro someday, or have photography as a side gig, I might get a Canon.
