Anyone see how original is like first Super Smash Bros. game, follow-up parts of Z and Melee similar to each other, + Super being like Brawl?

First parts r more on the child friendly side; second ones more about all hardcore, totally violent, and all around edgy stuff (both r even more popular than first ones); and third worthy entries have an in between feel as a whole. What stupendous Japanese stories!!
