Top Users/ All time list

I want to see who is currently the top guy. Not some old all-time list. For example in boxing Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua are current champs. Mohamed Ali and Mike Tyson are PREVIOUS Champs. Boxers are ranked by current form, not by all time number of wins.

In addition its more motivating for those competitive users, to be able to become the top user within 6 months.

But it depends on if they're actually better than Ali or Tyson. It's important to recognize the new names but also important not to forget the GOATs.

Yes but I don't know of any other ranking, where the main ranking is GOATs, and not current best. I'm not saying change anything, just to have easy visibility of a current Leaderboard.

I mean, there is a weekly leaderboard...

Sure that is cool too keep that going, but I think over 6 months or a year makes more sense. Most sports, or hobbies do their rankings like that. A running points system which indicates the current best over a recent period of a few months or a year.

Actually it doesn't really matter if they are greater than Ali or Tyson, the current champion is the current champion. The best at the moment. He should get the accolades as current champion.

Sure a historical GOAT list is historically of some interest. But the currently effective users are the current champs.

I mean, I understand but then that might bring a competitive edge to the site (nothing wrong with being competitive) but I worry that some ppl would get toxic with it

Sure that's a possibility, I see nothing wrong with competition though.
