Ace: ah! *falls onto the ground, his guide can clattering to the floor*

Ace: no, no, it's alright! *starts feeling around for his guide cane* if I can just find my cane...

Xena:*grabs it and hands it to him*

Ace: Thank you very much! *Stands* may I know your name? I'd rather not refer to you as "that girl", you know?

Xena: my name is Xena

Ace: Pleasure to meet you Xena, I am Andrew Charles Edward II, but you can just call me Ace

Xena: alright

Ace: Why were you running? were you being chased?

Xena: no just kind of in a rush

Ace: to where? ah! sorry, I'm being very nosey right now

Guard 1: Halt! we are looking for Prince Andrew, who has disappeared from the castle grounds. if you see him, report to any palace official immediately
Ace: oh no...

Xena: ok

Guard 2: thank you, young maiden. and you sir? have you seen the young prince?
Ace: *hiding his guide cane behind his back* Nope! Not a thing!
Guard 1: alright. well, keep on the look out, the prince is very good at disgu- wait...Prince! Come back here now!
Ace: *running away at top speed* Nope!

Xena: um

*The guards start running after Ace, who slides under a vendor's table. he's surprisingly agile and quick for someone who's blind. he grabs a crowbar in one hand and his guide can in his left, navigating his way around tables and boxes, while using the crowbar as a weapon*

Xena:*watches*

???: psst! Xena!

Xena: hm?

*she sees Ace behind a food stall, motioning for her to follow*
Ace: come on, the mirage wont last forever!

Xena: ok *does so*

*Ace leads Xena through the crowd, being extra quiet around any adults. he takes her to a tree near the palace wall*
Ace: see the tunnel over there? go through it and we'll be inside the palace grounds

Xena: ok

*they enter the tunnel. Ace closes a trap door behind them before leading Xena down the path. the tip of his guide cane falls into a rut in the ground, staying in that one line as they walk. the reach the end and ace opens another trap door*
Ace: After you!

Xena: thanks *enters*

*They emerge into the palace gardens, hidden behind a tall rose bush. Ace climbs out after her, dusting off the dirt from his clothes*
Ace: how do I look? ok?

Xena: just fine

*Ace smiles*
Ace: great! now, is there anything you'd like to do while you're here?

Xena: I'm not sure

Ace: Alright! well, now you know the secret way out, if you need it. Would you like to walk around the gardens?

Xena: sure

"Oh, excuse me."
He was very nice, and didnt seem to mind too much.

Xena: I'm so sorry sire

"Its ok, dont worry."

Xena: thank you *bows*

"No need to bow, really."

He smiles softly.

Xena:*smiles back*

"So, where are you headed?"

Xena: I'm on my way back home

"Same here."

He continues walking, his crown reflecting the sunlight back onto the ground.

He stretches.

-you hear a scream in the distance-
Xena: um on second thought may I go with you

He draws his sword, "Stay close."

He slowly walks back into the kingdom.

He looks around.

He tries to find the location of the screaming.

He barges into the tavern, "What the bloody hell happened?"
