I joined around the time when imgflip started becoming popular though, I wish I could have seen it with my own eyes in the good old days. I can always go on the way back machine…but it’s not the same.

The highest amount of points on the weekly leaderboard was like only 50,000 sometimes and usually it was Raydog
Memes were actually funny and made sense

The problem is is that the humor in memes from 2017 on here don’t vibe with what people want to see nowadays, because this site probably gained half of its users during Covid. So I can’t post memes with 2017 humor and expect them to do well on here.
