I tried the black cherry one. It's literally sour for the sake of sourness. Unlike the candy, there's no upside of sweetness after getting past the 30 seconds or so of sour.

Well, it was sour, like advertised. Made it through 2 sips. Unlike Warheads, there would be no payoff. I tried the black cherry Warheads not too long ago, and the sour only lasted like 30-40 seconds, after that it was quite pleasant. This wouldn't have had the sweet at the end.
