POV: a strange figure is running through the alleyways, wdyd?

*the figure turns a corner before you can see who they are*

Aries- *follows them* hey!

*as you chase them down the straight alleys, they seem to slow down, as if they remember you. They look familiar to you too*

Aries- hey! Who are you?

*the figure shakes their head in disbelief and gets back to speed*

Aries- hey! *Runs after them*

*it seems they thought they remembered you, but didn’t?*
*the figure jumps onto the roof of the five storey building*

Aries- how the heck!? Oh come on!

*you start climbing the ladder nearby, you are faster than you thought you would be.
Once you reach the top, you see the door to the roof access of an abandoned building a few buildings away swing shut*

Aries- hmmm

*surprisingly, power still runs to this building. As the lights turn on, you see a figure almost made of darkness*
???: shit.

Aries- hey I'm serious who are you?

???: why are you after me? I get a familiar feeling from you…

Aries- so do I! But you were also running around in the shadows like a creep so I went to check it out.

???: wait wait wait, *pulls down hood*

Aries- huh?

Gunslinger: You? How? Wha?

Aries- wait hold up

Gunslinger: Are you the one from the forest?

*as you try and open the door, you see it was blocked*

*this place was creepier than you thought, enveloped in a strange darkness, this can’t be normal*

*as you enter, you see a window, it would probably

*as you open the window, you see that darkness still somehow engulfs the latter part of the room, but a light switch is visible*

Aries- perfect! *Goes to flip the switch*

*as the darkness in the room fades, all you see is a hooded figure*
???: *starts shuffling to the side, trying to get away*

Angel : Alright dumbass. Stop moving. Obviously somethings wrong. Now tell me what it is so, hopefully I can fix it. *She sighs, shaking her head at them.*

*coninues moving*

Angel : Alright. *She holds him still.* Will you just corperate, jeez. I'm not gonna hurt you. If I was, you'd be dead already. So chill out.

*he teleports behind your back and runs for the window*
???: I need to be left alone!

Angel : *Teleports in front of him, having vines gently wrap around him.* Not happening. You have an amulet. Your stuck with me. Now answer the damned question.

???: Rrrg, alright. Whaddya want?

Angel : Jeez. *Rolls her eyes.* One, are you hurt? How many times a girl gotta ask before she gets an answer, huh? And second, where'd ya get the amulet?

???: one, I could easily be at this time of day, but that’s too complicated, and two, I was given this amulet by an old friend, the juvenile.

Angel : That makes sense. I asked him to find someone, guess that was you. Nice to meet you. I'm Angel, Guardian of the Elemental Amulets. *She smiles dorkishly at him.*

???:Then im assuming you know how he fought me to the death with the reward for the winner being becoming the god of darkness?

Angel : Yep. Though his spirit still roams around. And your spirit isn't earthly, so it was obvious from the start. Your element is Darkness, correct?

???: Yes, considering it’s noon, when light is greatest, I had to come to my hideout. People try to kill me every day almost, so I was scared when you followed me. My name- i mean alias, is the gunslinger. After my transformation I forgot everything about my life.

Angel : Damn. Here. *She waves her hands quickly, the dark returning.* Better?

Gunslinger: yeah, I just…

Angel : Just what? *Tilts her head slightly.*

Gunslinger: *sigh*
I can’t do this anymore.

Angel : Do what exactly?

Gunslinger: all of this, everything. I just wanted to live a normal life, but here I am with crippling depression, saving universes only to be discriminated.

Angel : .... That's kinda the point of being a god.... I can remove you of you position, if you want... But I can't take the amulet. It's bonded to you. And it will be until you die. Which, I hope, won't be for a long time.

*you hear the figure bump into the wall, you have it cornered. You can’t see them due to the lack of light*

Angel : *Makes her way towards him.*

???: *faintly* no, no

Angel : *Walks up to him, staying in the shadows. Her eyes have adjusted to the dark, so she can faintly see some features of the person, but not enough to identify them.*

*you see the amulet again, as they covered up their face and slouched on the ground*

Angel *Thinks* ^Damn... How'd he get one..^ *She appears in front of them and crouches.* Hi there.

Angel : Ayo, chill man.. I'm not gonna hurt you or anything.. *Thinks for a sec, before pulling out one of her amulets, the orange one she used to help her enter here.* Look, I have one too.. What's wrong with you? You hurt or something?

*the darkness in the room fades*
???: huh?

Angel : Hi. I'm Angel. Nice to meet ya. Now, are you hurt? *Looks at them concerned.*

*the figure notices you and runs faster*

Angel <Should I follow, or.... Imma follow.> *She keeps in the shadows, pulling her hood up as she runs after them.*

*the figure jumps from one wall to another onto the roof of one of the buildings*

<Ok showoff. I can do that too. It's called training.> *Whispers as she follows, keeping to the shadows to stay hidden.*

*he jumps roof to roof, eventually running into the roof access of an abandoned building*

<Geez this guy is weird... Does that make me weird for following them?... Eh probably. All well.> *Keeps following before silently opening the access and goes after him, staying to the shadows.*

*the roof access must’ve been blocked, you can’t open the door as easily as you thought*

<Well shoot... Hmm...> *Reaches into her bag and grabs amulet that glows a soft orange. She puts in on, and easily opens the door. She slips in before putting the amulet back in her bag, so the glow doesn't give her away.*

*As you walk in, a purple glow like your amulet is quickly covered up, as if they are trying not to be noticed*

*Thinks* ^Was that?.. No... Can't be right?... Where would they have found one?.. It's DEFINITELY a good thing I followed them. Now I need to know.^ *She continues to follow the low sounds that no one can really cover, making her way towards them.*

Gunslinger: no, I can’t leave this position. Who knows what the next person will do.

Angel : *Tilts her head.* Yeah, kinda my job to find new ones. I already got a couple lined up. But you do you I guess. *Shakes her head at him.*

Gunslinger: how many you transforming now? I thought I was the only one left!

Angel : *Tilts head slightly.* Anyone with non-human blood somewhere in their recent ancestry, up to, like 15 generations back, can be transformed. You just happen to be the candidate he liked the most for your role. There are even more now, with a couple of rally good ones.

G: I was human though…

Angel : You still had non-human blood in you line. *She tilts her head, her eyes glowing a medium hue of purple.* 11 generations before you. God. God of war, to be exact. I believe I got that right.. *The glow fades.*

Gunslinger: F**k, my whole life?

Angel : Yes. They are way back on your family tree, so I wouldn't expect you to know it, but yes.

Gunslinger: huh, I just need to rest for now.

Angel : Alright then. *She sits on the floor and leans her head against the wall.*
