*there is a ladder at the edge of the building*

*once you reach the top, you see the door to the roof access swing shut. He has quite a lead on you*

The door seems to have been quickly barricaded, a good bash should do

You question if they are running away from you

Nothing but silence is audible in the abandoned building, it gives you the creeps*

*as you explore, you feel as if you are being watched, and you hear footsteps now*
