I apologize for the story section, literally nothing I could do made it readable lol | BORT; BORT; NULL; 19,201; CRYSTALLINE (ADAMAS BELLATOR); LAWFUL NEUTRAL; IMMEASURABLE SPEED, IMMEASURABLE STRENGTH, IMMORTALITY, INVULNERABILITY; JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING ELSE, INCLUDING THEMSELF; FIGHTING, FISH, THEIR HUSBAND, AND BEING SUPERIOR TO OTHERS; Originally hailing from the anime Houseki no Kuni, Bort is a warrior at heart shaped by the unceasing war with the ethereal beings that inhabit their homeworld's moon. From a young age, they were raised by a mechanical priest named Kongo-Sensei who, although not their biological father, took on that role for Bort and a few dozen other young Crystallines, dubbed the Lustrous. Unfortunately, Kongo's creators, the Lunarians, continually attempted to "fix" him by kidnapping his adopted children in the hopes that he would relent and resume his intended functions in their service. As a result, from the moment of their birth, Bort was constantly under threat of being kidnapped and forced to battle for their life and the lives of their adopted sisters every single day. This experience left deep emotional scars that not even they were aware of until far later. Bort emerged as the most effective of the Lustrous in battle, and the others increasingly looked to them for inspiration and guidance. This molded them into a coldly rational person and gave them a strong sense of responsibility for those around them. This made it all the more painful when a number of the Lustrous, led by Phosphophyllite, betrayed the others and fled to the moon. Worst of all, among the traitors were both of Bort's sisters, Diamond and Yellow Diamond. Shortly after this terrible event, their life was thrown into an entirely new direction when a (relatively) young Black Diamond stumbled upon their world on his first trip into the multiverse. The two immediately took a liking to one another, and grew progressively closer over the next few years until they married and moved back to Black Diamond's palace on Homeworld. This thrust Bort from being a simple warrior to being ruler of a growing interdimensional empire, an experience for which they were unprepared but proved surprisingly competent at. For nearly nine thousand years, Bort lived a mostly happy existence with their husband, friends, and quintillions of loyal subordinates. Tragedy struck, however, during the Valor Crusade. That war saw an immense multinational coalition, including the Crystallines, declare war on the embodiment of all evil in the multiverse, a being known as the Malevolence Network. Over the course of the Crusade, all of Bort's loved ones were killed one at a time, slowly chipping away at their mental stability. When Black Diamond was finally killed, they were thrown into a state of absolute despair. However, what no one expected was the Black Diamond's destructive power was transferred to his next of kin upon his death- that being Bort. With this newfound power, Bort became the most powerful being in the multiverse and easily annihilated the Malevolence Network in a single instant. Unfortunately, a small portion of its consciousness survived and took up residence within their mind. For the next ten thousand years, Bort lived a life of misery, totally alone despite the entire empire they ruled save for the literal embodiment of evil as a concept living inside their head. To make matters worse, Bort's traitorous sister Dia made a pact with Malevolence and was given power identical to theirs, and the two clashed violently and often during Bort's period of depression. During this period, they became increasingly suicidal and genocidal, habitually destroying entire species while also searching for a way to kill themself. Unable to die, Bort lived against their will until, ten thousand years after his death, Black Diamond suddenly reappeared, having fought his way out of literal Hell. Overjoyed, the reunited lovers launched a war of unprecedented scale across the entire known multiverse known as the Ascendant War, until they were betrayed by Black Diamond's sister, Purple Diamond. Purple used their unparalleled chronomancy to trap Bort and Black Diamond beyond the end of time, where they still reside except for brief periods when Purple summons them back to the present to destroy otherwise unstoppable threats. | image tagged in oc full showcase v2 | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
