the sequels, as a part of the movies, are by definition canon. also, when someone asks a question, they want an answer, not a restatement of the thing that made them ask the question in the first place

I agree that they have flaws, however it does not matter to me; it's still star wars. Also, I skimmed the TFA novel, but I lost it.
