I personally dislike linear games.

if a game is too linear, it's just not that good in my opinion. open world games point you in a direction, but don't FORCE you to go that way. linear games just don't feel as good to play, because you don't get that sense of exploration. i don't care that i dislike half of all games.

plus, i don't have nearly enough money for the base game
rain world was $20 and is way better

But the base game itself is really good for both single and multiplayer

Yeah, but what's wrong with that? I get open worlds are amazing, but this game and the Galaxy ones are all linear and still hold up. The Galaxy games have even been considered some of the greatest games of all time.
