Resigning is bad unless its literally mate in- oh wait theres a chance the opponent misses it. I agree

One time I had only pawns(one was 3 squares from promotion) and my opponent had a queen and a rook.
I pushed my pawn he checked me twice then stopped.
I again pushed my pawn checked me and stopped.
I maked a queen he checked my king but he blundered his queen by doing that.
My queen took his queen and forked the rook and the king.
He resigned after that.
