I love puns, but they are pain. Can anyone realate?

I'm a wildcard with puns. Some just get a blank stare out of me, others a facepalm and/or groan, and some make me want to yeet my headphones to Seattle.
I've messed with my friends with puns. Got into a pun war with a coworker. And have seen a handful of pun war videos on YouTube.
