The Waffle House index is an obscure unit of measurement used to measure how safe you are. Green means you are safe and nothing dangerous is going on. Waffle House will make waffles as normal. Yellow means something like a tornado or hurricane is happening nearby and you need to evacuate. Waffle House will go into low power mode, turning on backup generators and such. Waffle House will make waffles still. Red means that the Waffle House building is destroyed and something like a zombie apocalypse is happening and if you aren't already dead, you will be.
