So, I am new on this website, can you tell me what was the lettuce incident?

basically, a photo of lettuce got on the front page (which is a guess the goal of many imgflip) IDK everything that happen but one imgflip user got mad that a photo beat out actual memes and that's all I know

I heard rumors about the lettuce meme, but I never heard the cause

The cause of the lettuce getting at the front page

Anyway, I would get mad too hearing that the lettuce is more upvoted then our actual memes
