Those who unironically say that people who end themselves go to hell should suffer the same way suicidal people do. My step brother ended his life last summer after going through divorce with a wife who cheated on him, knowing damn well he was unstable. If anyone said that about my step brother they deserve to be in his shoes.

Tldr: I actually disagree with Mario for once when it comes to those who ended themselves deserving to go to hell. If anyone deserves to go to hell, it’s those who caused the person to do what they did.

Sorry for the rant.

Yes, the one that made him suicide goes to hell too, but going to hell for suicidal is because you do not preserver your live and live like god wanted. I think that is written in the Bible

He was just born with the “I will make plans and make it my highest priority” mindset.
Let’s just say one of those plans was to have a healthy relationship with his wife, which never happened. He was doing well for a bit during the divorce process but then suddenly just broke. My stepdad found the body and I think it gave him PTSD.

Suicide is a VERY serious topic when someone actually does/plans it.

Yes. I once heard a quote:

“Between planning suicide and actually commuting it, there are 90 minutes”

It depends on the person and severity. For some they may procrastinate doing it for a few days or weeks before actually doing it. Despite that, you should always try to help them or seek for help if they ever mention doing the deed.
