odd then how she's succeeding at what she's not trying to do, and now failing what she is trying to do. the nintendo magic is gone. the sooner you realize that, the sooner you can move on to better games and emulators.

How can you argue with Switch-Chan after all she's done for you?
IRL, the switch is technologically inferior to other consoles and the average gamer would be way better off with a steam deck or PS4 or 5. But I play a lot of switch, since I like the exclusive games like animal crossing.

i had a switch. animal crossing got boring. breath of the wild was tedious. i'm not paying that price for metroid dread. smash bros. got boring. in the end, it was just a distraction during toilet time, which my phone can easily accomplish. i'm a PC gamer now, and for me personally, it covers most of my gaming needs. would like an emulation handheld though.

oh i do. but i like their older ones. and an emulation handheld can give me better access to that than the switch ever could.

You should be able to emulate all your favorites as long as Nintendo never cracks down on emulators.

that's the thing. when it comes to emulators, it legally can't. rom sharing is a different story, but even then, they've tried to stop that. they can't. at this point, they would have to shut down the entire internet to stop it. heck, there's a binding of isaac mod that's just a super mario world rom in a folder. it's literally everywhere.
