Cause the creator wanted to make a trashy self insert with her political opinions stuffed in where she can race swap all the characters and bash Fred (the only one who wasn’t race swapped) by destroying his character and make him the rich, white, straight, character so she could depict him as racist and self absorbed with a masculinity complex. Oh but don’t worry, all the other characters were ruined too. The best part of the show is the fact that Velma(who the creator made in her image and race) is the most annoying and prickliest character out of all of them, so we can atleast get a good image of what the creator is like in real life.
