Another thing, I think that when bardota rescues him, gunslingers hood is on so he thinks that he’s a regular human, but is surprised he met the god of darkness.

Bardota isnt even human himself so it wont be to much of a surprise

Possible. Gunslinger would be able to cut his ropes with his dark matter. And the bardota comes in and kills everyone, and they meet after the fact at the citadel.
