This is a fossil of a great creature that would have lived in Africa and a small piece of South America during the Ice Age, it was fiercely territorial and often members would die from clashing over land, however there where signs of small packs of about 3-6. However 6 million years ago it went extinct, due to human activity and the Sahara desert forming.
