Not really. And I have nothing wrong with me. American shows are usually dark shows with lots of sex, drugs and violence. Anime generally has a lighter feel and more episodes. Some even have those mentioned above too. Plus, they have good music. So in all, anime is not like regular shows. It is 20000 times better in every way.
