Yes, I did use tape. Actually, fun fact, I restarted it like 4 times. Originally, I was gonna use Posca Pens, then found out they dont stick too well. So then I decided to use paint, spending about $100 on materials, not including the $110 for the actual shoe. I think it paid off though. I ended up with 50 ounces of paint, 26 paint brushes, and so on. I hope to do this project again, but better.
