1. That's actually Aaron Burr, so obviously, you haven't even watched the musical and yet, here you are bitching about how the character isn't white.
2. The director and writer of the musical, Lin Manuel Miranda, is a poc (person of color), and he wanted pocs in his cast.
3. Don't you dare bitch about how "oh, Aaron Burr isn't black! Why is the actor black?!1!!1!!11", white people have been cast to play characters that were originally black, asian, and latino/latina and y'all stayed silent. And y'know what? Even I am tired of seeing little to no good representation for Filipinos in American media, the only Filipino I saw perform in a musical was Leah Salonga in Les Miserables. White people do have privilege, and they can get casted in some other all-white musicals. But now, y'all wanna mess with this one musical with an all-poc cast, saying "hey, why are you not including us???!!!" You were the people who excluded us in the first place. So we made our own stuff, don't take it from us.

I've seen it live at broadway, at least 15 times on disney, and the travel group when it was in South Carolina its really good
