I guess Nato's promises are worthless...

Yes, because invading and killing the people of a sovereign country is simply “violating the borders of a sovereign nation”.

Not relevant. Two wrongs don’t make a right.

Instead of aimlessly trying to convince you otherwise, why do you believe that?

Russia is de-militarising and de-nazifying a state which in a larger geopolitical sense has been an aggressor to Russia by inviting in NATO (a well established anti-Russia military alliance with a history of unprovoked invasions and war crimes to advance a liberal world order at the behest of hedgefund corporations like Blackrock)
By reducing Ukraine to rubble we're avoiding WW3 (Nuclear war) by establishing a buffer state between Russia and NATO. Ukraine could have chosen neutrality but they have pursue a policy of Russophobic hate crimes and cultural suppression in the countries east where the majority of Russians live.

Since 2014 I've traumatised myself watching some horrific footage coming out of Ukraine showing militias killing civilians and torturing people for no reason without the international community stepping in to put a stop to the violence in Donbas and other nearby Ukrainian regions.

Russian soldiers and PMC's have committed atrocities as well but the aims of the RF are noble and I would rather the current Ukraine situation to a much wider and more devastating conflict.

Russia in in the right for the Ukraine intervention the exact same way the US was in the right for the Afghanistan intervention. Sometimes you need a foreign power to stop rogue actors in foreign states, Escpecially when they have committed atrocities in your country and aggress against you.

If your rebuttal is 'Ukraine is defending itself'
Then maybe Ukraine shouldn't have aggressed against Russia and put them in danger.

If your rebuttal is 'We're fighting for Ukraine's sovereignty and democracy'
Then I say f**k democracy for brining us closer to WW3, and Ukraine doesn't deserve to be protected because of the danger they've put the whole world in when they could have chose neutrality.

Ukraine seeks to join an aggressive alliance to corner Russia and provoke it into a conflict.

If Ukraine want's security all it has to do is rid itself of the Bandera supporting neo nazis and become neutral.

Sure, because we should believe Russia when they say they would leave Ukraine alone if they stopped flirting with joining an "aggressive alliance". Surely that is not exactly what Russia wants us to do, surely Russia hasn't been eyeing Ukraine for years and Putin knowing the casualties Ukraine and his own country would sustain said ima do it anyway. Surely not, surely.

It's a bit weird hearing you say I believe Russian propaganda when most of my sources are western media and telegram channels of actual war footage run by Ukrainians.

If you can't tell if this is a serious take then you have something wrong with you mentally. As in you are quite disturbed.

Well, here's the thing. If you have to invade and kill the innocent to not cause WWIII, maybe you're looking at the situation wrong. This is real life, not a video game.

Uhh, they do nothing. Ukraine does not pose a threat to Russia. Quite the opposite, and it's been that way for a long time. this isn't a new conflict, it's history repeating itself, and you're blind to it because it makes you feel like a rebel, how close am i?
