About your mom, I hope you can understand that for someone who doesn’t have experience themselves with changing their name, it can take some time to get used to it, even with someone so close to them. I’m assuming she’s not doing it on purpose. Just give it time. Correct her when she makes the mistake. Also, I think that the drawing is great.
