After hearing rumors that Bianca Sanchez (aka Candystripe) was alive, Gingerbread Man found her at a bar in Kaktovik, Alaska. There, he rescued her from a Dark Elf sniper.
They two of them then took an assignment to protect a top-secret collab project between the US and Canadian Navies to create a battleship called the Exodus that could break the soundbarrier. However, during the launch, Dark Elves attacked the Exodus while riding speedy aquatic Glacier Serpents. They deployed The Nutcracker, an animated statue for hunting Gingerbread Man. He and Candystripe managed to fight The Nutcracker and the Elves off, but the Exodus was badly damaged and sunk.
Luckily, there was a second Mach-1 battleship, the Breakout. The Breakout's crew sailed ahead to the island of the Dark Elves, while Gingerbread Man and Candystripe took an alternative route in Candystripe's F-222 Raptor, the Candy Crane. The bounty hunters and the Navies converged on the Dark Elves' island, where they battled Captain Shade's Elf Battalion. They then found a portal to an alternate universe.
Candystripe flew the Candy Crane into the portal, while tugging the Breakout with several people on board, including Captain Shade, GM's wife and son, and CS' boyfriend Murk, a Dark Elf. They emerged in a large blue nebula, encapsulating an entire solar system. The nebula was full of strange blue crystals that controlled the Dark Elves' powers. The crystals were similar in makeup to the crystal of creation, although they were an entire different element.
Gingerbread Man and Candystripe ruled over the system for 7 earth years before they finally escaped.
They went back through the portal, except that, instead of landing back on earth, they emerged near the Citadel.
And now Gingerbread Man and Candystripe live at the Citadel, serving as bounty hunters in various parts of the multiverse.
