Just because you don't THINK you can't feel like a certain gender, that doesn't mean you can't.
In fact, you feel like your birth gender or whatever you are right now.
Let me put it this way. Feeling like a certain gender, for example your birth gender, would just feel normal, or like you always have. Being genderfluid, I often feel different than what I was born as, for example even though I was born a male I often feel more nonbinary or feminine, and at this point I barely remember what it feels like to be a dude.
