Vr - a soul trap

Call me naive—but I see a lot of potential.
How fun would it be if we met up once in a while in imgflip_world?
I stumbled into a world the other day where people were playing Wheel of Fortune…virtually

I think thats kinda whats so worrying about it for me. People will just get sucked into this world and before they know it are playing wheel of fortune or experiencing other such intriguing things to the extent that they become addicted. Its being put out there and slowly spreading and being normalised and so people are getting drawn in. Its like that episode of star trek tng with the vr like game that takes over peoples minds. It always starts off innocuously.

I see where you’re coming from. I’ve thought about the big picture quite a bit. The economic impacts, social impacts, and whether or not VR is “a good thing.” And I’m confident that I will be able to balance both reality and the new and exciting stuff I’m seeing in the Metaverse. I have to remind myself that I’m not adding anything valuable to my life by worrying.

This week, I caught a bunch of fish, met some cool peeps in the comedy club, and started learning how to build a world of my own. Good times. At the same time, I miss being here looking at memes too.

TD World! Id like to visit. I wonder if at the moment u can go where u like on meta but at some point it will get too busy and u have to pay or something.

That’s another cool thing…people can collaborate on worlds together. There’s a learning curve trying to work the controllers 😀 Challenging and fun 😃

There’s a bunch of fun stuff to do. I was jumping around today in a room where the laws of gravity don’t apply. It was fun. ☺️

I think oculus means a portal to the dimensions of darkness so there are warning signs there. If you can find positivity in that world and use it for good then thats ok. In the long term just be careful it doesnt draw on you too much and always be able to walk away from it. Just think - you could be talking to bad luck Brian or 10 guy, the possibilities!

That’s how I’ve always felt about Facebook. And social media in general. But, if we have another global health crisis, like Ebola or something, the solutions may need to be brainstormed in a VR/AR environment. So, there are some potential practicalities for “Oculus.”

Mac is coming out with their VR headsets this year. I’m waiting for those.

Macintosh. Apples. Garden of Eden Adam and Eve. Original sin…derp derp derp. My mind does this. And I don’t want to be this way anymore. Ok, maybe once in a while—for memes. 😆

If anything, VR pushes me to talk with new people. Because in real life, I don’t talk very much anymore. I’m rusty. And that’s something to work on. I’m also happy bee-bopping around in there all by myself. And I don’t have to worry about getting hurt.

Did u know the first mac was priced at 666 dollars. I think if your spirit is telling you things then LISTEN. Apple was named for the reasons you say. One of the main ways people will be brought into this vr deception is by dissatisfaction with real life and so thats why u can't stop trying to meet new people and living a healthy normal life. Coming from my point of view where i know that this thing is primarily designed to imprison humanity then its difficult for me to see u embrace it so. It will always seem attractive at the beginning (try to watch that star trek ep. 😆) but i'll stop preaching now and let u bee-bip some more. Ps. If theres a new pandemic it was indeed modelled by computer and planned out long ago.
