I’m just realizing now, I’m giving Star Wars Legends books much less credit than I should be. However, they aren’t cannon anymore because Disney. So we can ignored the consumption of whole planets.

Pretty much stories ranging from the old republic to far in the future. I haven’t read any of them myself though. There is one about Darth Plagueis the Wise but now all these books of Star Wars are all considered not cannon or true to the story.
