there's actually a lot of ways to actually win an argument instead of relying on ad hominems..you could attempt to back them into a logical corner amd note the lack of proper counter-response, or you could bait them into making their argument a double standard, thus invaliding it
relying on foolish things like a stream they follow or an accident in typing which you'd probably make too doesn't do you much good. pretend your argument is a game of chess. calling out a spelling mistake or a stream they follow is the equivalent of moving a pawn towards danger while the queen is active and in position to cause a checkmate within 2 more turns. you're relying on your opponent to simply not have anything planned for this..making a calm and logical counter point serves as a punch in the fight rather than a feint
