Candy: thats so cool!! I cant draw scenery to save my life lol

Karma: “I draw scenery, people, and sometimes animals…..mostly birds”

Candy: birds are cool! So are wings- the way feathers lay on wings in different sections is so cool to me- like- how did nature just make wings so cool and stuff?

Karma: “they do looks cool” *rolls up his sweatshirt sleeve and he has a bunch of feathers scattered on his arm tattooed* “annoying to be attached to you though”

Candy: how are they annoying?

Karma: “they get in the way”

Candy: oh-

Karma: “they’re a tad bit big” *spreads them out and they bump into other tables*

Candy: but you can fly! Thats cool, right?

Karma; “I mean sure. But it’s not extremely exciting due to how many times I’ve done it”

Candy: yeah i could see how it gets boring-

Karma: “it can still be fun though”

Candy: kind of like riding a bike?- like- you learn and then yeah its fun but its just- like- meh?-

Karma: “basically……I can fly you around after classes”

Candy: :0 really?

Karma; “…..sure”

Candy: thanks! You really are super cool :)

Karma: “meh plenty of people here are cooler”

Candy: eh agree to disagree-

Karma: *grabs his binder of drawings* “you can have one of these drawings for your cool binder instead of the sketch if you want”

Candy: but- most of these buildings dont have roof access- *looks at his wings* ohhhhhh yeah you have those-

Karma: “yeah I just make sure to leave before the owners find me up there and I get reported or arrested”

Candy: *laughs a bit* have you ever gotten caught?

Karma: *nods and gets out a new piece of paper*

Candy: ooo tell me about it!

Karma: “….I flew on top of a very fancy hotel, and they had cameras on the roof and I was drawing the sunset at the time then security came up and I didn’t fly away because I didn’t want to be tazed mid air” *he pulls out a binder and searches through it* “I have the drawing somewhere in her”

Candy: oh shit-

Karma: “I was only fined….”

Candy: good that you werent hurt though!

Karma: “I would of probably been fine” *finds the drawing* “here it is” *he shows it to her and it’s a half drawn sunset with buildings in the skyline*

Candy: the sketch was cool but if you really want to then sure

Karma: *opens the binder and it’s a bunch of drawings of birds, random scenery’s and some fashion designs which seem to be designed for people with wings*

Candy: ooo

Karma: *he looks at her* “did you come up with the name candy?”

Candy: !- uh- nope! Born with it!- parents sure are weird with names, huh?- *nervous laugh*

Karma: *has an are you serious face* “you’re not so good at lying”

Candy: what do you mean? Im sooo good at lying!- i mean- telling the truth!!-

Karma: *laughs slightly* “mhm sure”

Candy: hey! Dont laugh- im such a truthful person

Karma: “that’s a lie”

*she smiles and turns around to take a binder with clear sheets of plastic to put papers in out of her bag, its pink with stickers that spell out “cool stuff!” on the cover*

Karma: “I can draw you something better- that’s really not that good of a drawing”

Candy: it really is! You shouldnt be so harsh on yourself- *they put some stickers on the plastic over the drawing, they were some sparkly stars and confetti- spiral- things-* *they turn back around and show Karma* while handing them a grape flavored sucker*

Karma: *hesitantly takes it* “thanks-“

Candy: youre welcome!

Karma: *unwraps it and puts it into his mouth* “so are you an artists or fashion designer”

Candy: kinda both? *they put her own sucker in her mouth after unwrapping it and putting the wrapper in their pocket* mostly a fashion designer but i also wanna be a character designer so- i dunno!

Karma: “I can make fashion……I just don’t get ideas often enough to do it”

Candy: i just go to the mall or the park- fun public places like that! Its nice to people watch and get ideas :)

Karma: “I find places with nice views…typically high up”

*Candy gets out their pastel purple with stars sketchbook and a matching mechanical pencil and also starts drawing*

Karma: *looks at it and laughs some* “you’re a very bubbly person”

Candy: yeah! Well- i try to be-!

Karma: “seems exhausting” *detailing feathers on his sketch*

Candy: it can be when people are rude back but other than that it isnt!

Karma: “mhmmm” *starts drawing stars on the bird to match her*

*Candy is drawing someone with wings, but they seem more angel-like than bird- they also look a bit like Karma*

Karma: “looks nice…”

Candy: thanks! *looks at their drawing* aww theres stars :0

Karma: “I felt like making it less depressing” *writes the word candy over the bird and underlines it and hands her the paper. It’s a bright bird with colors like pink purple and yellow stars*

*Candy holds up her phone to Karma*
*the screen is on front-facing camera*

Karma: *he laughs slightly* “damn Amrak looks a lot like me”

Candy: yeah must be your long lost twin or something

Karma: “must be” *smiles at her* “how long is this class”

Candy: its gonna be over riiight about….
*she points to the bell in the classroom right as it rings*
Candy: now! *she smiles, grabs her stuff and stands up, waiting for Karma*

Candy: wow you being sarcastic? *very obvious sarcasm* shocker

Karma: *acts like he’s about to crumple the paper*

Candy: no no no dont do that!-

Karma: *hands it to her*

Candy: thanks!

Karma: “it doesn’t fit my style*

Candy: ooo! Cool! *they try and look at it*

Karma: *it’s just a a sketch of a faceless person but with wings like him* “…..I don’t know what to draw”

Candy: youre really good at drawing!

Karma: *sighs* “meh”

Candy: what do you mean “meh”?

Karma: “this is just a lazy sketch I quickly made” *her crumpled up the pice of paper*

Candy: !- dont do that! It was a good sketch!-

Karma: “do you want it?”

Candy: sure! If youre not gonna keep it-

Karma: *fixes it and hands it to her*

Candy: *goes back to drawing, they seem to be drawing the angel-Karma-(???) character a lot*

Karma: “whatcha drawing there”

Candy: just uh- a completely from my imagination character not based on anyone

Karma: “mhm very believable”

Candy: yep

Karma: “couldn’t possibly be inspired by a person named karma”

Candy: yeah of course not- the person who inspired this is- Amrak-

Karma: “do you have a photo of this Amarak person? I would love to meet them”

Candy: oh- yeah i do! *she takes out her phone and pretends to scroll through her camera roll*

Karma: “you can just say it’s me”

Candy: nooooo its noooooottttt-

Karma: “whatever”

*They smile and take their desk and completely turn it to face Karma*
Candy: there- now i dont have to turn 360 when i wanna talk to you!

Karma: “but now you can’t see the front of the board”

Candy: oh well- we arent doing anything today anyways!

Karma: “yeah….just meeting people….probably the worst day this whole year”

Candy: ?

Karma: “I don’t like meeting new people. No offense “

Candy: understandable

Karma: *grabs a pen and starts sketching a bird*

Candy: hello! Im Candy, nice to meet ya, classmate! *she smiles*

Candy: ooo a very pretty name! Well then, nice to meet you, Karma! Wont need to just refer to you as classmate now- *she laughs a bit*

Karma: “…it’s not that pretty of a name”

Candy: i think it is :)

Karma: *he shrugs and looks at her* “why are you so happy”

Candy: just because! Being sad makes others sad but smiling can make others happy too!

Karma: “I guess so-“ *looks down at his paper*

Candy: what are ya doing?

Karma: “making a sketch”

Candy: yeah your dark, edgy, sad style? *she laughs a bit, well- tries and fails horribly to hold in a laugh and also puts the drawing in her binder before Karma can do anything*

Karma: *pushes her chair* “f**k you”

Candy: *cant really tell if that was in a joking way or not so she kind of freezes up, and looks almost- scared? Worried? Both?*

Karma: “sorry-“

Candy: oh its okay! I just cant really tell when people are serious or not sometimes-

Karma: “……noted”

Candy: yeah-

Karma: *pats her head*

*Candy smiles and giggles- well that was a quick recovery back to happy*
