Do you remember in thor 1 the fight in Jotunheim when he used his powers to seem like he is there, while he was not, or in thor 3 when he did the same? I think he actually was not actually there, he was in the fight but not exactly there and used illusions to seem like he was there. I don't know if it's really that way, It is just the only way it could be possible
