DAY 49: WHAT IS THE CATCH-22 FOR MORMONS CLAIMING TO BE CHRISTIANS? First, please do not shut the door on anyone coming to talk about faith. Instead, in a loving and caring way, Christians need to be prepared to help those caught in Mormonism and other false faith. Let’s witness to those who are out “witnessing.” That said, Mormons have a real dilemma when they claim to be Christian; their own founders said Christianity involves: “Corruption, abomination, heathens, ignorance, the wh**e of the earth and Babylon, being devoid of fact, paganism, being hatched in hell, nonsense, monstrous iniquity, wickedness, murderers, idolaters,
infidelity, a mythical Christ, and a perversion of the gospel.”; Joseph Smith, the main source of Mormon doctrine, said: “Christians will all be damned unless they repent by becoming Mormon.” Facing those facts forces Mormons to admit one of two losing arguments: Either they must agree that they are part of an organization committing heresy against Christ and His Church, or they need to somehow dismiss what their top leaders and founders said—those who created Mormon doctrine. It’s either admit their false teachings or deny their false teachers who invented those beliefs. And if they call out their leaders
for lying, why should we—or they—believe any of the
doctrine they want to talk about at our house? | image tagged in mormon,jesus,latter-day | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
