Wrong. Because if you "repent" and then keep sinning - you NEVER knew God to begin with.

1st John 3: 6 "Whosoever abideth in him sinneth NOT: whosoever sinneth hath NOT seen him, NEITHER known him."

Jesus talks ALL the time about people that claim to believe but really they're still NOT Saved.

Those same people also tell people to "repent"

The question you should be asking is - WHAT is REAL Repentance.

Because if you "repent" and STILL sin again, then your "repentance" was garbage to begin with.

IF you "repent" and then "sin" again, then you turned your back on God....

Which according to Him just means you NEVER knew Him to begin with.
