Wow the entire first part of the creed is simple, then a very simple word like Amen they made much more complex. I find that humorous

At the Latin Mass I attend it's actually part of the ceremony to sit during the sung Creed because it takes so long, lol. The music is beautiful nonetheless and a centuries old tradition.
