If you're on deepslate, then there's a very high chance you can find a mineshaft, make a wooden pickaxe by breaking the supports, and then mine deepslate to make a stone pickaxe
I really hate that they added in a whole new mining level. I know it’s kind of irrational but I’m really starting to hate Mojang. It’s becoming more of a cash grab, adding in new stuff no one wanted or needed and simply making it stupid. No one wanted new default skins…
