you should try and use overlapping sketching - which means that you draw each shape and then use that to draw the hand. Hands are hard when you try and guess the way they move, but if you look at your own hand you'll notice your hands move in a more angled manner. Use this when sketching to help with the final product - no more squiggle fingers and no reference needed. (I made the guide I added)
