That’s a golden eagle not a golden hawk

Hmm, I would say it’s a juvenile bald eagle

It’s not a bald eagle if you look at the top of the head it’s not white and the golden eagle is the biggest eagle, the size of that one was around the size of a thanksgiving turkey, I know because I was there taking pictures as well

First up, bald eagles don’t get their white heads until they are about 5 years old. They look like this until then, getting progressively more white feathers each year. Golden eagles are solid colored without all this mottling. Both eagles are about the size of turkeys.

Trust me it’s a golden eagle I live in Alaska where both are common and I am 99.9% positive that it’s a golden eagle
