speaking of spelling bees, i was the only person who got 'merit' right
i got 2nd place, not tryna brag tho

i get it, that word is pretty tough

if i makes you feel better, same thing happened to me but with the word 'ostrich'

countless hours of watching Dr. Jacques Bailly spelling, pronouncing, and giving sentences and languages of origin, only to fail because of a silly little 'Y'. I spelled it "H-I-R-A-X" and the correct spelling is "H-Y-R-A-X". Needless to say, I was and still am VERY mad.
