Alicia: ok.. but I'm still not scared if him.. <mind: I actually think he's kinda cool...>

The woman smirks, as if she read Alicia's mind.
"Aww, you like him, don't you?"

Alicia: *blushes a little* i-i um-um...

"Aww, that's so adorable!"

Alicia: *blushes harder*

"It might be kinda hard to start a relationship with him, though... he's not exactly friendly..."

Alicia: ya I've noticed.. I still don't know how I have a crush on him

The woman shrugs.
"Who we like is out of our control."

Alicia: yeah considering once I fell for a guy who broke my heart after I started dating him...

Alicia: *scared*

The man chuckles.
"Scared already? My, my, you're quite generous."

Alicia: wh-what do you mean..?

"It's quite simple. I feed on your fear."

Alicia: o-oh..

"Now tell me... what are you afraid of?"

Alicia: you..

"I see..."
The man turns away. His neck snaps, but he seems fine, and he turns back towards Alicia.
His head is tilted sideways, his eyes are oozing black fluid, and his face is terrifyingly distorted. He cackles, his voice strange and broken.
"How about now?"

Alicia: *more scared*

The man's features return to normal after a few moments.
"Perfect... your terror is delectable."

Alicia; *quiet*

"Scared silent, are we?"

Alicia: *quiet*

"Hmm... well, if you're not going to talk, I see no reason to associate with you."
The man turns to leave.

Alicia: *felt bad that he was leaving*

"...is that sadness I sense?"

Alicia: maybe...

"Tsk, tsk. Such emotions won't suit you in this realm."

Alicia: what do you mean?

"This is a realm of fear. Sadness has no place here."

Alicia: oh... *a lot less scared now*

"...you dare deny me fear?"

Alicia: is there something wrong with that?

"Yes."

Alicia: well too baf

The man growls.

Alicia: *quiet*

"...you are incredibly difficult..."

Alicia: I know *smiles*

"Kkh. Don't you smile at me."

Alicia: I will if I want to

"UGH."
The man storms off.

Alicia: ok then

Faint music can be heard...

Alicia; ?

Perhaps you should investigate?

Alicia: *decides to investigate*

The music eventually leads you to... a bar?
...and not just any bar, a completely greyscale bar. A woman vaguely resembling the mysterious man stands behind the counter, mixing what seems to be hot cocoa.

Alicia: *quiet*

The woman looks up.
"...oh, hey! I didn't think anybody was still alive... and don't worry. This place is safe from my brother."

Alicia: oh ok

"It's been a long time since anybody made it here... consider yourself lucky."

Alicia: oh well I also annoyed him to the point where he walked off so..

"...oh my."

Alicia: what?

"...it's not a good idea to aggravate my brother..."

Alicia: oh well 8m not scared of him

"I'm not sure if that's a good thing..."

Alicia: well I thought it was since he feeds off fear

"...don't worry. If you do manage to win my brother's heart, he'll probably never break yours. He's incredibly sweet once you get past his 'lord of nightmares' exterior."

Alicia: ok.. but does he even know what love is..?

"Of course he does!"

After a few moments, the man enters the bar. He glances at Alicia but says nothing. He then takes a seat at the bar.

Alicia: *quiet*

The woman is silent.

The man sighs.
"...you are incredibly difficult, you know..."

Alicia: I know

"...it's as if you WANT to kill me."

Alicia: wait what do you mean?

"If I am denied fear, I quite literally starve to death."

Alicia: oh... <mind: but I don't want him to die...>

The woman shrugs.

Alicia: im-im not trying to kill you....

"...even if you're not trying to, you're still starving me..."

The woman quietly brews a mug of hot cocoa.

Alicia: sorry... *looks down*

"Don't you apologize to me. You don't mean it."

Alicia: but I do..

"...how am I supposed to believe that?"

Alicia: because i lo- *stops herself from saying she loved him*

"...Finish that sentence."

Alicia: *looks at his sister like 'should I?'*

The woman shrugs, mouthing the words 'it's up to you'."

Alicia: *softly* i-i lov-love you...

The man freezes.
"...you what-"

Alicia: *blushes* I love you

"I- wh- HOW?!?"

Alicia: *shrugs*

"...y-you filth! You can't do this to me!"

Alicia: i-im sorry I can't control my feelings... I I guess I'll leave... *goes to walk out*

"...get back here, mortal."

Alicia: why?.. you don't feel the same... and I'm accidently killing you... *walks out*

(Hello?)

"...I am not supposed to be able to love. But I will admit, mortal..."
The man sighs.
"...You have made me feel *something*. I know not what it is... but I have not felt it before."

Alicia: *quiet*

"...you may stay here, mortal, until I understand this feeling."

Alicia: ok..

The woman rolls her eyes.
"Stop being vague, Coello."

The man- presumably Coello- sighs.
"...urgh. Fine. I... do have feelings for you, human."

Alicia: wait really?.. *tilts her head a little*

"Yes, mortal... now, I do believe formal introductions are in order."

Alicia: I'm Alicia..

"As you have already learned, I am Coello. It is a pleasure to meet you."

The woman gives a little wave.
"I'm Rini. Nice to meet you too."

Alicia: *smiles*
-she had a pretty smile-

Coello tries to smile, but it still looks creepy.

Rini giggles.
"What a cute dynamic you two have."

Alicia: *happy*

Coello stares for a moment.
"...may I have a hug, mort- err, Alicia?"

Alicia: yeah..

Coello steps closer and awkwardly hugs Alicia.

Rini smiles.
"Aww..."

Alicia: *hugs him*

"...this is weird. It feels nice though."

Alicia: *nods*

"...sister, will we be able to support a human living here?"

Rini shrugs.
"We can try..."

Alicia: *quiet*
(Well if she does die can't she just become a ghost and continue dating him?)

(The nightmare world, despite seeming real, is in fact a dream
(If you died in the nightmare world, you would die in the real world, and your ghost would be in the real world rather than in the nightmare world
