Because using a character creator is lazy

What if you aren’t good at drawing, and a character creator is the best way to make sure your OC gets an accurate representation?
Being a good artist is cool, but it doesn’t necessarily make you good at making OCs.

That still requires technical drawing skills and doesn’t make sense in the context of an OC stream. Imgflip already has a drawing stream, shouldn’t the OC stream allow all OCs?

Base editing doesn’t require drawing skills, it’s just coloring

Depends on how detailed the base is, and if you have a lack of drawing skills it’s going to turn out a worse representation of your OC than a character creator
Also like, how is spending an hour on a character creator (finding a good one with picrew takes a while, or just making it for more complex things like Gacha club) considered lazy compared to coloring in a base?
Coloring something in is like the easiest part of art

My point is that the reasoning for the No character creator rule in it’s description is just “it was already here and is less effort than drawing” when you have triangles for OCs on the stream, and it’s called OCs not OC_drawings
