TL;DR: A related announcement post would be a post that is directly related to the furry community, and starts a discussion. It will not count as your daily unrelated chat post. However very basic questions with objective answers will count.

A related chat/announcement post would be a post that is clearly and very directly related to the furry community/fandom. Usually these posts are asking a furry question, bringing up a topic that the post author would want to discuss and so on. However commonly asked/very basic questions with a straight forward answer on the announcement template will count as your post.
E.g. an announcement post that says something like "Are cryptids furries?" would count as related - it's talking about the community, directly starting a discussion. Therefore wouldn't count as your daily post.
However, a post asking something general, just announcing a milestone, telling an unrelated (non furry) story etc. would be your unrelated post.
E.g. A post saying "How is everyone today???" is not directly related to furries and therefore would be your one unrelated announcement post.
It should be noted that if you make an original piece of art that happens to ask something semi-unrelated, or fully unrelated, but features a furry character, it will not count as your announcement post. An announcement post is mainly a repetitive template that is being used only for chatting. However if you use said art over and over then it will be counted as an announcement.
I know this all sounds complicated but that's only because I'm explaining the logic behind it in depth.
