i thought they would put it at my door smfh

so i got an email saying “your binder will be shipped in 4-7 business days!” a few days ago and i was so excited i didn’t read the rest of the email and when i did i saw a tracking code and they decided to deliver it to the mailbox yesterday at like 11 am i don’t have the key to my mailbox and i know my mom checked it at one point and if she found a binder she would wait until she was pissed to bring it up and i can’t just ask if i can go check the mail, bc i never check the mail. hopefully the office will lend me a key since they do that when i lock myself out of my apartment. all i have to do to get a spare house key is prove i live here and then leave an important object at the office so i remember to bring their key back and a while back i accidentally found out that some of the mailbox keys open multiple boxes when i accidentally opened the wrong box like a year ago so i could ask the guy who’s box i opened to help open mine I just really hope mom doesn’t have it because then i’ll either never see it again or by the time i see it again i’ll have outgrown it
