The Soviet Union is our rival superpower and so we need to defend ourselves. We create a highway system so we can easily move troops and equipment from one side of the country to the other. Are civilians begin using the highways to move around further developing our nation. Racist white people begin utilizing the highway to move away from black people and spread racism.
